Chief Financial Officer (Accounting Advisory)

Job Description

  • We are currently seeking experienced finance managers in the Accounting Advisory Team of Our Advisory practice.
  • The Accounting Advisory Services practice is a dedicated team of experienced professionals with in-depth technical and industry experience across our service offerings.
  • The team provides end-to-end accounting and financial reporting advisory solutions, helping our clients transform their financial reporting function as well as meet the complex demands of financial reporting regulators and key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum of Second Class (Lower) division from a reputable University
  • Must be a Chartered Accountant.
  • Minimum of 10 years post-NYSC relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of business and financial plans, financial forecasting, and projections
  • Experience in corporate finance.
  • Proven experience in financial statements preparation and reviews
  • Good knowledge and experience in preparing financial reports
  • Strong financial modelling experience
  • Appetite for learning new skills in a challenging and supportive environment
  • Strong consulting skills: analytical, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • High initiative and leadership
  • Motivation to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism
  • Strong skills on Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Good dotal skills.

IT Helpdesk Officer

Job Description

  • KPMG is currently seeking an IT Helpdesk Officer. Working as a member of a dynamic team, you will be the first point of contact for any IT related issues.
  • You will be required to install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware/software faults and solve technical problems, either remotely, over the phone or face-to-face.
  • A strong customer focus and a “can do” attitude is desirable and excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st level support for all KPMG business applications and network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Logging all calls reported to the helpdesk and escalate as required.
  • Supporting the roll-out of new applications
  • Setting up new users’ accounts and profiles.
  • Testing and evaluating new technology.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Have a minimum of a Second Class Upper from a recognized University
  • Have a minimum of 5 O’ level credit including math and English
  • Have completed the NYSC programme
  • Relevant Microsoft or equivalent professional qualification desirable
